The Project Power-sharing for a united Syria: Capacity Building, Dialogue and Public Relations for the Kurdish National Council and representatives of other Syrian minorities is the successor project to Capacity Building for the Kurdish National Council in Syria.
The project Power-sharing for a united Syria was launched in 2018 and builds on the previous cooperation with the Kurdish National Council in Syria respectively is an extension of this. In the dialogue workshops, which took place in 2017, many people from different linguistic, ethnic and religious groups participated in lively discussions on the future of Syria. Accordingly, it is the aim of the project Power-sharing for a united Syria to develop new ideas for a united and democratic Syria together with representatives, politicians and well-known personalities from different ethnic, religious and linguistic groups, as well as representatives of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.
The main focus of the project is the organization of dialogue workshops in which the participants from different ethnic, religious and linguistic groups work together with experts on key points for a Syrian constitution. In addition, we want to raise awareness of the interests and concerns of minorities in Syria. Thus, on this website, as well as on Facebook and Twitter, we would like to make current information on the situation of minorities in Syria in English, German and Arabic language available to a broader public.
